The project framework departs from a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between economic growth, environmental conditions and social life of the community. The big goal is to tackle poverty through economic growth, by increasing agricultural productivity and rural household livelihoods. This project is also in line with the agenda for achieving sustainable development goals (2015 Sustainable Development Goals), especially in terms of reducing poverty and inequality, developing self-help communities, preserving the environment and producing clean energy. The project is also in line with Jokowi's government priorities - known as Nawacita - especially in terms of building Indonesia from the edge (village) and harmonizing economic growth with environmental preservation and human security.
