Korah Foods is a start-up tomato processing company located on the Ashesi University campus. The main aim of the business is to reduce post-harvest tomato losses by a significant amount. Its primary operations include purchasing excess fresh tomatoes from tomato farmers in Ghana and processing it into diced tomatoes. Ghana consumes an estimate of 100,000 metric tonnes of tomato paste annually and growing. The growing demand for processed tomatoes by urbanized middle-class Ghanaians, due to convenience. provides a fit for our product in the market. The market is however saturated with tomato paste producers and a few other processed tomato producers.
