Korantemaa Larbi is a design studio specializing in African-inspired design products, and aimed at creating a niche for black and Afrocentric aesthetics in the international design market. With our range of products, which include upholstery textiles and wallcoverings, along with other soft furnishings and products, the options for designers and consumers alike open up.We've debuted with two decorative pillow collections from our fabric collections, Fractals and Geometrix, which take inspiration from cultural artifacts from Ghana, where our creative director is from. Fractals is inspired by the Kente cloth of Ghana, drawing on the logic, proportions and the innate regal quality kente carries. The Geometrix collection draws on the Adinkra symbols of Ghana, expressed as bold, contemporary, graphics symbols.
