Korfball Canterbury is an incorporated society and was founded in 2004 to promote and develop the sport of korfball in Canterbury.Korfball Canterbury is affiliated to Korfball New Zealand, which was founded in Christchurch in 1997.Korfball Canterbury administers the promotion and development of Korfball in the Canterbury region. At school level, Korfball Canterbury runs a School Development programme that is aimed at introducing Korfball to students and teachers across the region. Our School Development Officer helps a school to include Korfball as part of their phyiscal education programme. School tournaments are also organised to help the children develop their skills further and give them the opportunity to test their skills and confidence against other schools from around Canterbury.Korfball Canterbury also runs multiple competitions throughout the year to keep the excitement for Korfball high.
