Korsika Energy Research and Services Ltd ((KERSL), is an Industrial/Technical Skills Continuing Training Provider based in Accra. The company has an excellent training facility located at the GRATIS Foundation, which itself is located within the walls of Tema Technical Institute in Community 7. The company is privately owned and was incorporated as a Limited Liability Company under the Ghana Companies Code of 1963, Act 179 on April 27, 2011. However, actual operations started in September 2012. KERSL is a COTVET -certified work-place training provider (Reference Number REG13/10/07). KERSL is also a member of the Association of Ghana Industries.KERSL has signed an MOU with Scientific Management Techniques, Inc., (SMT, www.scientific-management.com), a U.S.-based company, to market their manufacturing skills training equipment in Ghana. . SMT's business focus is the design, marketing, and sale of industrial and manufacturing skills training programs on a global basis. Their unique assessment machines and training equipment have broad applicability in several areas – manufacturing, mining, construction and education.KERSL also is working to become an Alliance Partner with National Instruments (NI, www.ni.com). With headquarters in the United States, NI is a globally-recognized manufacturer of controls, test and measurement equipment for education, industry and research. KERSL currently works very closely with NI-South Africa and is the sales agent for NI hardware and software products in Ghana and offers technical support for such.
