We seek to make controlling equity investments in profitable, well-managed businesses. Our unique structure and investor group allow us to have a "go-anywhere" approach when evaluating potential investments and afford us flexibility in investment time horizon, investment and return requirements, and type of investment. This enables us to make investments through a variety of customized structures in lower middle market companies looking for a long-term equity partner.We are seeking investment with:• Companies wanting an investment of $2-$15 million of equity capital (typically EBITDA of $700,000 - $5,000,000)• Seller or management team wanting to maintain an equity interest and be a long-term partner with Kovitz Private Holdings• Companies headquartered in the U.S.• Companies with strong financial and competitive position• Companies generally in the following industries: business or consumer services, retail, manufacturing, wholesale distribution
