Classes in IDF unarmed combat that incorporate the soft skills of avoidance and awareness. Most self defense training begins under the assumption the fight has already begun. There is a large section of human conflict therefore that is not addressed and that is victim selection, isolation and verbal exchange that all precede an altercation. At Krav Maga LKN we have adopted the avoidance and awareness strategies of the professional protection agent and we impart that knowledge to our students so that they might recognize a situation developing and avoid it before fighting becomes necessary.Another unique aspect of our training is dealing with problem number II. If problem I is the fight itself, problem number II is the legal battle that often ensues and very few schools teach their students how to cope with that. Finally, rather than just teach techniques, we also cover tactics and mind-set. Without the addition of the last two you have to be incredibly lucky to win or survive an altercation.
