Krejuv Limited was founded in 2010 to pursue a significant new opportunity in the automotive aftermarket.We developed an aftermarket telematics platform based on an OBD dongle, cellular communications, and a web application. Two products were successfully prototyped and demonstrated: "Company Garage" for commercial fleets, and "Personal Garage" for consumers.However, as it transpired, European legislation which was intended to guarantee access to information for the repair and maintenance of vehicles failed in its intent. (See Euro 5, Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation, etc.).While it is possible to reverse-engineer the performance- and diagnostic-related information that is required for every vehicle make and model, this is time-consuming and simply not cost-effective.The market opportunity remains, but the company has been put into hibernation for the time being.
