kRromaFilm is a production company formed by the collaboration between Patrick Meehan, past chairman of HandMade Films, and Alberto Tarallo, of Ares Film, the leading Italian producer of TV films, series and mini series. The company has offices in Rome and London and is currently producing, with its distinctive style and meticulous standards, television series, mini series and feature films for the English speaking market. Kroma Film in association with Ares Film has just finished a mini series based on the life story of Rudolph Valentino. The series, featuring well known Italian actors Gabriel Garko and Asia Argento, has been released in April 2014 and it was a great success. Currently, a mini series based on the famous novel "Memories Of Hadrian" written by Marguerite Yourcenar is in development. The series will be directed by Carlo Carlei and will be shot in Italy, Bulgaria and Morocco. Shooting will start in April 2014. More projects on the slate. A biographical mini series dedicated to one of the most famous fashion stylist in the world: Gianni Versace, based on the book (find out from davide). Shooting 2014. A mini series dedicated to one of the most famous divas in the cinema of the 1900's, Marlene Dietrich, based on the best selling biography written by her daughter Maria Riva. Shooting 2014. Gladiatrix, a series set in the bloody gladiatorial universe of Roman times featuring female gladiators. Shooting 2014. kRomaFilm is also developing a romantic comedy feature film, Made in Italy, helmed by the Hollywood writer and director Charles Shyer. Shooting will start in 2014 in Italy and United States. Calum's Road, from the best selling book by Roger Hutchinson "An Anduring Tale of Courage and Compassion". Based on a true story and set in Scotland.
