Higher Education - Cilacap, Central Java, Indonesia
Kroya State Senior High School is one of the schools established on the basis of the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 0206/9/30, dated July 18, 1980 as one of the realization of the Pelita program in the Education Sector.Geographically, the first time the school was held was an effort to facilitate local children to get the opportunity to study without having to leave the city. It can be observed that Kroya is a strategic area in East Cilacap and is easily accessible from any region. On the other hand, the new unit of Kroya 1 Public High School is a strategic unit that was used as a pilot, both in terms of architectural and learning programs that will be held. This can be seen from the physical side and the facilities available at the school concerned. In the beginning of the trip providing learning services to the community, Kroya 1 Public High School, which at that time was still Croatian Public High School, was only permitted to accept four parallel classes. This means that for several years the school must consequently accept students as determined by the government. This policy contained the intent as a form of school independence and the ratio of school capacity in a realistic and sustainable manner. After going through such a long stage, within three decades, the institution cannot avoid the reality that must be responded to. This condition encourages managers to always strive for learning facilities and programs so that they can be more efficient and effective in facing the challenges of an increasingly symptomatic era. Therefore, in the learning year 2011/2012 Kroya 1 Public High School was able to serve the community by being able to open nine classes in parallel, including having an immersion program (teaching program with an introduction to English).
