Kréyol is a woman's high fashion brand that aims to impact the world one garment at a time. They partner with artisan collectives in Haiti and Ecuador to provide a retail platform for makers and artists to sell their goods. Their aim is to foster economic mobility and sustainability through art and fashion.Kréyol has been featured in AM New York, the Boston Globe, Conde Nast Traveler, AfroPunk, New York Fashion Week at the largest Macy's in the world in collaboration with 19th Amendment, London and Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica, and in Teen Vogue, where Fontaine was named as one of the top Haitian Designers to know. Fontaine has been named Best of Boston, Best Clothing Designer by Boston Magazine in 2017 and Best in Boston, Clothing Designer by The Improper Bostonian in 2016. Most recently, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in November of 2020, Kréyol launched their first artisan collection in collaboration with the Red Sox Foundation at Bloomingdales in Chestnut Hill, Boston.
