KS WoodCraft is a Dallas-based hardwood furniture design firm specializing in bespoke Residential and Commercial furniture. Founded in 2015 by Ken Schumacher, KS WoodCraft gained attention for its unique design offerings as well as a myriad of available hardwoods that range from US Domestic to foreign Exotics, while also operating with a sustainable approach by sourcing unique reclaimed and live edge hardwoods. Some recent collections currently reside in major corporations such as AT&T HQ, Hilton, Hyatt and WinStar Resorts. While Residential is a big focus, KS WoodCraft has also scaled into hospitality, corporate and small business by evolving with the growing metropolitan open-concept concept."Our mission is to make your vision become a reality. We strive to deliver high-quality custom hardwood furniture to our clients across residential, hospitality, fast casual, office, co-working, architecture, and interior design landscapes. Please contact us today – we'd love to work with you!" – Ken SchumacherTENANTS OF DESIGNSCOPE- Our focus is to design and build products with a "form follows function" approach. We work with our clients to fully understand the scope of each project, the function of each piece and any constraints. This process allows our completed pieces to check all of the boxes and fit the space as though the room was built around it.CRAFTSMANSHIP- We continue to collectively hand build all our pieces in our Dallas-based workshop. Our creative approach from concept, to design engineering, to sourcing and fabrication embodies careful attention to detail and quality in every step.SUSTAINABILITY- We search the world for different reclaimed hardwoods. Some of our collection includes 600-year-old French Oak and 300-year-old Venetian Oak. We often marvel at the history that this wood has experienced. We also have local Cotton Mill wood that pairs very well with our metal fabrications.
