In 1944, Carl and Juanita Kuester founded the company & opened the original location on Main Street in Wintersville, OH.In 1971, Kuesters' daughter, Barbara, & her husband, Gil Boring, purchased the business with the main focus of delivering a quality product, while providing great service and parts availability. In 1989, Gil and Barbara Boring expanded their location to Bloomingdale, OH. At this time both the Wintersville and the Bloomingdale stores were open for business. Gil ran the Wintersville location, & his sons, Dave & Dean, ran the Bloomingdale store. In 2000, the Wintersville store closed and consolidated all operations to the Bloomingdale store. In 2001, Gil and Barbara sold the business to their sons, Dave & Dean Boring. The brothers' goal was to continue selling quality John Deere products & backing them up with great parts and service. In 2003, Dave & Dean expanded operations by purchasing the John Deere dealership in New Philadelphia, OH. Kuesters' growth into the New Philadelphia market really took off supporting their customers' Agricultural, Turf, and Small Construction needs. In 2006, Kuester's opened up operations in Saint Clairsville, OH. Dave and Dean expanded the company to three stores supporting the entire Ohio Valley with quality products, as well as parts and service needs. Kuester Implement's business motto is "Powerful People, Powerful Products." Service is the other half of a great product, & Kuesters has a highly trained, quality staff that supports the customers' needs.
