KBA is a Business Incubator operating in Southern Africa. KBA objective is assist small and medium sized companies through the difficult start-up and growth by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services. KBA's main goal is to identify business ideas that can produce successful companies that will leave the incubation program financially viable and freestanding. Once we have faith in a business or a business idea or existing SME, we immediately invest our resources and expertise in the business. We only invest in SME businesses or ideas that have a potential of being in the Top 5 of the sector they are in – within a period of 3 years. We then deploy resources and taking seats of the particular company's Board. Our role will be to do everything necessary for the SME to succeed, create value and grow. Once the SME has grown to a certain pre-determined size, we exit through the Put option and take a percentage of the proceeds form the sale and put into a Fund out of which we will invest in other SME's. OUR OBJECTIVES 1. Contribute to creation of new businesses 2. Assist growth of businesses in the territories we operate 3. Reduce unemployment by creating jobs 4. Help businesses grow from informal to formal 5. Boost economies of the territories in which we operate 6. Revitalize neighbourhoods The services provided differ on a client by client basis but generally these are: 1. Secretarial Services; 2. Infrastructure-facility based Services; 3. Business Services; 4. Financing and/or access to finance; 5. People connectivity and networking; 6. Business training access and knowledge; 7. Brand building; 8. Management of the program.
