Our story begins with Lenore Zietsman, co-founder and Chief Learning Officer. Her passion for learning and creating opportunities for people to learn better led to the creation of Kunjani, initially designed to train Customer Care - a training board game that would bridge the age, literacy, and education divide; something that would honor the participants' embedded knowledge and different learning preferences as well as allowing participants to share and learn from each other while having fun.Initially, sales were primarily of customized board games to corporate clients. Through many iterations, the learning concept has been proven.Hans Zietsman, co-founder and CEO, leveraged innovative technology to convert the ‘brain-friendly' games into a scalable business. We entered the ed-tech space with a hybrid digital and social learning tool for classroom learning.In March 2020 the Covid19 pandemic led to a shift in our offering. We adapted quickly to offer our existing clients a platform where training could continue despite the pandemic constraints.Today Kunjani is a learning & development platform used to upskill, onboard, and engage remote teams using blended learning games. Cutting edge learning science is embedded in the authoring tool's wireframe. This makes pedagogically rounded online content development quick and easy. So far, Kunjani has mostly been used in adult learning & development, however, there is potential for migration into the massive K12 space.So to imagine Kunjani today, think Zoom meets Kahoot, meets Miro. Kunjani brings virtual classrooms to life with serious play.Our Vision is to be the go-to education platform worldwide for today and tomorrow's learners.Our Mission - With our innovative, simplistic, and flexible platform, we will explore and address the widening gap between conventional education systems and the 21stcentury demands of a changing workplace/ learning environment.
