Kunnskapsforlaget was the largest commercial publisher in Norway of Norwegian and bilingual dictionaries. They publishing dictionaries since the foundation in 1975. From the 1990s they were involved in the development and publication of digital dictionaries, and in 2004 they introduced the commercial website Ordnett.no (www.ordnett.no). Merged with Gyldendal Norsk Forlag 2020.
