Kushcush, Inc. (womenâs designer swimwear) was founded by husband and wife team Kerry and Angelo Cushman in their living room in Santa Monica, CA in 2004. Despite having no financial backing or experience in the fashion industry, they were quickly recognized by industry leaders WWD with a full page editorial, Saks Fifth Avenue with their first sales meeting, and their first order which came from top-retailer Kitson, who ordered nearly our entire product offering. Since their modest beginnings, Kushcush swimwear has been sold in the most notable stores in the US; including Saks Fifth Avenue, Anthropologie, Shopbop, Kitson, Gilt and worn by celebrities such as Jessical Biel, Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton, Lindsey Vonn and featured in nearly every relevant major US fashion, entertainment, and fitness magazine. They have been providing swimwear and beachwear to top US retailers and brands by way of the flagship brand Kushcush and private label design services for over 10 years.
