The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre is a large conference and tourism facility maintained by the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Society. The facility is a significant outcome of the land claim agreements signed between the Yukon Territorial Government and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation in 2005. Situated on the banks of the Yukon River, the Cultural Centre is a place where we celebrate the heritage and contemporary way of life of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation people. It is also a gathering place for people of all cultures. We officially opened on June 21st, 2012, and are growing in popularity since. We organize conferences and events, host exhibits and offer interpretive material for all cultures to enjoy. The Centre has various spaces for conferences and other meetings, as well as a state of the art community kitchen. Equally, our Centre holds a museum space and interpretive displays to exhibit artwork and interpretive displays for the enjoyment of the public and our clients. As our ancestors did for thousands of years, we welcome visitors from near and afar to gather in our cultural home to share stories and experiences. If you are looking for a place to host your event, the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre is one of the largest meeting facilities in Whitehorse. We offer an ideal and picturesque location suitable for conferences, galas, cultural festivals and memorable weddings.
