We are a startup focusing on data analytics within the industrial work place. We saw a problem in industry among companies and individuals that utilize hearing protection when at work. Current hearing protection provides no insight into the state of the user and the long term and immediate costs, financially or physically, these events have on individual and organization. We are in development of a patent pending device that intends to create smart hearing protection. This device is capable of notifying the user when they are in close proximity of a dangerously loud sound or when the user has been exposed to a sound for too long a period of time. The device does this all while logging these events to provide improvement for the immediate and long term future.
