Throughout the 20th century, the United States growing self-awareness and willingness to be accountable for her past allowed us to grow from an isolated nation to a global superpower, envied by the world. It was the result of our explicit choice to pass policies to build a better, more compassionate country that helped those in need, creating and lifting the middle class after WW2. Now there is a large part of our society who are threatening to drive our country backwards. Kyle is running for Congress so he can fight the reactionary and regressive element taking hold in this country and advocate for those who are powerless.
