At Kóndor we're revolutionizing the way the world manages its waste. According to the EPA, about 58.2% of all waste ends up in unspecified landfills or is dumped in the open environment. While many robotics and AI companies are targeting the downstream waste collection processes of sorting and recycling waste, we are focused on harvesting opportunity that's left behind during the collection process. How do we do a better job of collecting valuable recyclable commodities and selling them on the recycling market? It's simply not cost-effective to ask human workers to do this work.Today we're a team of six with three engineers and three business leads. Our backgrounds and experience span great companies like Waste Management, Tesla, Amazon, ABB, HP Enterprise and SAP. We bring a combined experience of 71 years working in technical roles, software and hardware, and in business management and sales.Kondor is a pre-seed company. We developed a proof of concept (please get in touch to see our demo) and we're opening conversations with venture capitalists for a seed round to develop our commercial product.
