La Luz Center Details
Founded in 1985 by a small group of volunteers led by Ligia Booker, La Luz Center created a safe place for immigrants to go for help in emergencies and in building their new lives. Since its founding, La Luz has functioned as the primary resource in Sonoma Valley for disadvantaged families experiencing economic and social crises and seeking opportunities to become economically self-sufficient. Today La Luz focuses on providing essential upstream skills to educate and empower our community.
