We are a culturally and ethnically diverse law firm, serving NM in several ways. We offer quality, low cost legal and non-legal services to the public. We contract with NM State agencies to serve and protect the vulnerable people of our State. Elena Moreno graduated from the UNM School of Law in 2004. She immediately entered into private practice upon graduation and her first client was the Mexican Consulate of Albuquerque who valued her Spanish fluency and knowledge of the Mexican culture in addition to her legal experience. Elena was Santa Fe Business Woman of the Year in 2004. She practices law in the following fields: Probate, Family, Business, Criminal, and Civil; and is a certified mediator with accreditation from her law school alma mater. Christina Wisch has been a paralegal with Pegasus Legal Services for Children. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Christina is a mediator, dealing primarily with interpersonal, non-legal conflicts, as well as in a legal context. La Morena Law, LLC has an office-sharing arrangement with Gauthier Law Offices, LLC. Martina Guathier is the principal agent for Guathier Law Offices and is a member of the Menominee Indian Tribe. She performed mediations in Indian Child Welfare Act cases under a grant in Denver, Colorado. She also clerked at Luebben Johnson & Barnhouse LLP.
