LABOOH, stands for "Lamaran Butuh Hantaran" or "Engagement needs gifts". Lamaran means Engagement, Butuh means need and Hantaran means Wedding Gift. The name is inspired by Indonesia language and tradition. Traditionally, Wedding gifts are handicrafts of Malay local culture which used from generation to generation as the presents of the groom's family for the bride as the symbol of provision of the bride's future life.LABOOH is also taken from word "pelabuhan" (read: harbour). Our belief is said that somebody can be illustrated as a ship, like a man who is travelling and looking for someone to spend his life with and harbour is its destiny, like a chosen woman who is waiting for right man. Additionally, harbour is always crowded with people to come and to go. Eventually, this social entreprise desires to be a right choice for new couple to accompany their beginning of life and to be crowded by customers as much as a harbour.
