Scope of service of Coastal Laboratory and Marine Environment, covering 3 areas:1. Research/Applied Research, includes: coastal research work, among others: coastline change, reclamation, sedimentation and dredging, erosion, abrasion, dredging, bridge pillar scouring, tides, tsunamis, marine pollution, artificial reef application, coastal regulation etc.2. Field Surveys and Laboratory Tests, include: soil investigation work, feasibility study, surveytopography and bathymetry, hydro-oceanography survey (tidal, wave, current, water quality, etc.).3. Technical consultations, include: technical planning work and design details on coastal buildings including: port master plan, dock, groy, seawall, bulkhead, jetty, breakwater, also studies on coastal cell, coastline changes, marine pollution, coastal and coastal management, coastal vulnerability index and so on.
