We are a team of entrepreneurs, national lab researchers, commercialization consultants, investors, and program managers. We fund full-time entrepreneur-minded Fellows to discover, build, and launch startups based on technologies from premier research laboratories. The unique challenges to commercializing lab technologies require a sustained, targeted public-private approach like the LabStart program. LabStart is a partnership between the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, MXV Ventures, and several industry associations and investor groups.
