LADIES THAT UX AUSTIN:We are a group of enthusiastic ladies who inspire, empower and support each other in a safe and casual environment. We encourage women who work in or are interested in the field of User Experience to join us to form a family of ladies that UX Austin.Anyone is welcome to join our events. Ladies that UX is a monthly meet up that creates a welcoming, transparent community of women that work in UX, who positively promote and teach each other. It's a friendly, welcoming and collaborative community, with a growing number of local groups based in cities worldwide. Each city runs slightly different events, and each group decides what they want to get out of their get-togethers. Sometimes there's a speaker or a theme, sometimes we just eat, drink, and see where the conversation goes. The one thing we can guarantee is that you won't feel pressurized to present. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and if you want help with a particular UX challenge, you'll find plenty of willing problem-solvers.Ladies that UX does not run for profit, but seeks to make the world of work better for women around the world.
