THE 'HEART' OF LMD TECHNIQUES:Proprioception is the physiological phenomenon that unites the mind with the body. It does this by connecting the space around us with our perceptions of our space and ourselves. How we perceive the world and our choices for interaction with it are turned into muscular response (and thus action) through our proprioceptors. They are the anatomical and physiological link between mind and body. When we as bodyworkers learn to connect with the action and dynamic of the proprioceptive organization of our clients' bodies, we more readily create changes that last. Underlying all of our courses at LMD is the principles of bodywork involved in communication with our clients' basic dynamic organization--- Proprioception. CUSTOMIZABLE COURSES AND PROGRAMS:We have regularly scheduled weekend classes. Also, courses can be completely customizable to your needs. That means you can schedule a CE course during the week, in the evening, morning, or afternoon--virtually any time frame that works for you. The classes are designed to be 20 hours long, but they can easily fit practically any time frame. For example, if you need 6 CE hours to complete your requirements, you can take 6 hours of any of our courses. We also travel to virtually any location to conduct our classes. We have taught in Pittsburgh and New York City, so we can certainly come to you.
