Lake Island is a family weekend home which we wish to share with you. We hope you experience the peace and serenity we enjoy here. We also share with you our staff who have been with us for many years, our food recipes we enjoyed during summers spent here, and the simple beauty of the island.For us it is a place of renewal and cleansing of getting away from the noise and the pollution of the city. It is our sanctuary, we want it to be yours too.We consider this place as a mini paradise- enjoy the serenity and peace of Lake Island as you sit by the lakeside, fishing rod in hand. Allow tranquillity to settle in as you take a boat or kayak around the lake; read a book under the shade of century-old acacia trees; lie on a hammock as wind chimes lull you to sleep; or simply take in a golden sunset by the pool.We opened the resort to the public in 1994, catering to retreats and seminars. To accomodate the bigger groups we even added rooms, dining areas and conference rooms. If you're looking for venues for your company's team building activites, planning seminars and conferences then Lake Island might be the place for you! We've accommodated countless of companies for their seminars and as well as held retreats for different organizations. Once in a while, we also get reservations for family events and reunions.
