Lala Jagat Narain D.A.V. Model school was opened in 1994 with strength of 20 students only now it has 1512 students on its roll. It has a special mission to provide quality education to all the sections of the society. It was a secondary school up to 01.04.2000 and upgraded up to Senior Secondary level w.e.f. 01.03.2003. At present the school owns a sprawling campus in six-acre land with all the modern amenities for the children. School endeavours to develop all round personality of the children. Students are excelling in every field reaching at National and International Level because of their merits. It has been the first preference of the parents because of the treatment the students are getting in the school.This School is providing a lot of help to poor section of the society. It is located in Lane-4 Kabir Nagar Jalandhar which was a very backward area in the beginning but now this school has ameliorated the standard of this area through the social project works. This school is not only helping the children but it is helping the needy girls and women of nearby areas by running stitching beautician computer and art craft classes after the school hours.
