Lali + Layla was co-born in 2016 between our two homes: NYC + Tulum, by Armenian + Mexican native New Yorker and FIT graduate Lali and her amazing mother Ruby. To now having an all female team between our two HQs. Layla (and now Lucy and Lexy) are our beloved pups.-Lali + Layla was created when we felt there was a dire need for a more ethical and sustainable brand, due to the lack of transparency in the current fashion industry. Know who made your goods, what you buy is what you support. At Lali + Layla we make sure our bikinis are ethically hand made, by us, not an overseas factory. Every piece you buy, was cut and sewn by us from scratch.Using quality sourced materials, designing styles, pattern making for perfect fits, and printmaking our custom drawn original prints, making each piece that much more special and unique. Nothing is outsourced and our team does everything it takes to make our product and build our business.-Lali is passionate about L+L, but also advocates a plant based lifestyle, healthy body image/state of mind, self love, and awareness of our fellow earthlings and environment.-We think everyone and everyBODY should be able to wear a L+L suit and feel powerful in it.
