Lampein Consulting Group, Inc. is a niche provider of mental/chemical health clinical consultation/training to nonprofit organizations working with families (and single adults) who have experienced homelessness and related traumas. Using the 90 Day Window proprietary model, staff members are empowered to engage effectively family members that experience extreme dysregulation in emotions, thoughts, and behavior. Applications of the 90 Day Window model have been applied in multiple contexts including family supportive housing, single adult housing, MFIP case management, and Rule 31 Co-Occuring programs. Specific deliverables of the 90 Day Window include genogram-driven staff consultations combined with staff trainings using Dialectical Behavioral Theory (DBT). The principles & philosophy of DBT are the foundational matrix for interpreting & engaging complex mental/chemical health presentations. DBT-Based Family Skills Coaching is a unique application of the DBT model developed by Marsha Linehan, PhD and is applied specifically to family systems. DBT Based Family Skills Coaching consists of two training modules (levels) that build incrementally one upon the other. The training process moves from theoretical survey (Level 1 = 31 hours) to personal application (Level 2 = 42 hours). Together, these two modules (nearly 75 traiing hours combined) train staff in the use of evidence based principles that include DBT as well as other front end family engagement strategies.
