An industrial welding building in The Pearl was gutted it and converted to The Pearl Design Center. Bev was the first center tenant and leased 4,000 square feet. She is close to Kravet and Goldsmiths and other businesses that cater to interior designers. Bev still concentrates on interior designers, but hopes the public will also find the store, tucked under the west approach to the Fremont Bridge.Bev has 37 lines and just recently added four more after visiting Las Vegas Market. Even though the economy has been rough, she remains optimistic that families will continue to find Portland an attractive place to live.Bev concentrates on fabrics, furniture and accessories.
