Landis Energy Corporation was a TSX Venture Exchange listed public company from 1996 to 2010 trading under the symbol "LIS". It was primarily engaged in the investment, development, and management of energy infrastructure projects. The company was formerly known as Landis Mining Corporation and changed its name to Landis Energy Corporation in 2006. Landis Energy was incorporated in 1996 and was based in Calgary, Canada. It held a 50% Limited Partnership with Versen Inc (TSX:VSN) for energy infrastructure development in Atlantic Canada and various working interests from 50%-100% with others for Western Canadian energy infrastructure developments. On March 23, 2010 after successfully selling to AltaGas Income Trust and de-listing from the TSX Venture Exchange, Landis Energy Corp. then operated as a subsidiary of AltaGas Income Trust (TSX:ALA.UN). In July 2010 Landis Energy was renamed AltaGas Natural Gas Storage Ltd. and became a wholly owned subsiduary of AltaGas Ltd (TSX:ALA).
