The Landscape Carbon Calculator is a tool that will allow one to track their carbon emissions and sequestration from landscape projects. We believe in climate change and what we do matters. It is our responsibility to design and build with landscapes with an awareness to our surroundings. The calculator allows you to enter all the details from concrete to pipe fittings so you can see the impact from all the components or a design. From this you can even determine the impact of small adjustments in an effort to decrease the amount of carbon released from your project. The calculator is built with healing in mind. From your inputs you can track the amount sequestered back into the landscape. You will get a calculated sequestration equilibrium timeline to find out when a project will reach equilibrium and when we start tipping the scales in the other direction.We know we can reduce our footprint. We have a responsibility to not only understand the impact we have on the climate but to use that knowledge to make informed calculations to become part of the global solution.
