Language in Motion was established in 2014 at the request of Deaf community members. The Kentuckiana area was lacking an agency that put Deaf individual's preferences first. We are proud of our commitment to provide qualified interpreters to Louisville and surrounding areas. We strive to not only find an interpreter for the job, but the right interpreter for the job. Having worked and lived in this community for over a decade, LIM staff has a knowledge of the Deaf community members, the local area, and the interpreting field in general that will help match the right interpreter with Deaf individuals. We are open to feedback and suggestions and welcome ways to improve our services.
