Founded in 2018, Lapa Lopa is a unique opportunity to integrate technology-enabled services for our neighbors. Our mission is simple: Be useful to our neighbors. We provide services and tools - starting with cleaning service -- that offer a radically improved, trusted experience for neighbors and cleaners. Our primary focus is neighbors in multifamily (apartment) communities. We believe this target group gives us the potential to provide real value by consolidating neighbor buying power and offering a fair wage to the cleaners. The population density of neighbors in these communities will allow us to optimize the scheduling of services, so cleaners walk from unit to unit rather than drive from house to house across town. Thus, we can make life easier at a lower cost, driving rapid adoption among neighbors and cleaners. We launched in Q3' 2018 in the DC metro area. Have raised more than $1.6 million in seed financing to build the business.
