Lar de Maía begins in 2010 with the desire to start afresh in the world of wine. Lar de Maía is the combination of two terms. On the one hand "lar", synonymous with home, and on the other hand "Maía", goddess of spring that gives name to the month of May in the Roman calendar. May is a key reference for us, because it is when we decided to bottle our first vintage.We want to be true to the domaine philosophy, so we limit and control our harvest. Moreover, it is a wine made from grapes of organic farming. Our project is aimed to show that is is possible to produce new high quality wines taking advantage of our expertise and commitment.
