Deep in the Woods of New Jersey, a Tribe of diverse, fantastically hardcore nerds gather together on a ramshackle old Girl Scout camp where they co-create an entire world with their combined imaginations, pretending to be elves and goblins.By day their lives are the mundane, but on weekends they adventure off to the medieval county of Tarra, a dangerous fiefdom lead by the cruel fist of Count Robert Rasenna, a cunning strategist and politician (when roleplaying only). Friends Hayden, Simon, Egan & Randall have been long time players, practically becoming adults while adventuring out in the fields of New Jersey, and have long dealt with the cruel rule of Robert – both in and out of game. As have the Paladin Paks, the Shadowstepper Taylen, Father Tedrick – just some of the Heroes on the field also familiar and tired of the Count's antics. From the sidelines, the Park Ranger Ron, watches the gamers month after month waging war against one another with foam swords. But new players come all the time – Live Action Role Playing is a great adventure for the young, whether in years or heart and mind; and by that same token, old players leave.A magical sword comes into the picture and jealousy runs high. An assassination attempt is planned and executed. The face of the game, and the lives of the players, will change forever… yet the story is only just beginning. Come on an adventure, old friend?
