Latent Recordings is an independent record label owned by Cowboy Junkies and managed by the bands songwriter/guitarist/producer Michael Timmins. Our goal is to work with and help artists whose music we are inspired by and to build a community around those artists. At the heart of the label is our recording studio, The Hangar (http://latentrecordings.com/hangar/) - a comfortable and professional working space that is available to all the artists on the label. As a label we are able to access various funding sources that can help our artists defray some of the recording and marketing costs associated with the making and promoting of their music. Most importantly we can offer our thirty years of experience in the music biz, operating as a successful touring and recording band. Our current roster includes recordings by - Cowboy Junkies, Skydiggers, Lee Harvey Osmond, Jerry Leger, Ivy Mairi, Mary Gauthier and The Good Family.
