Founded in 2011, Entertainment E began with a simple goal in mind, to bring different and fresh art the the Chicagoland community, such as music, theater and comedy. Entertainment E launched on Nov 23, 2011 at the congress theatre with popular Mexican indie band, "Hello Seahorse". Then, to explore the theatrical market, the company aided in the distribuSon of a Mexican play called Manos Quietas, starring a number of recognized LaSno actors like, Fernando Colunga, Giselle Blondet, Aylin Mujica, Lorena Rojas, and Johnny Lozada. The events' success triggered the company to conSnue to bring theatrical plays as well as comedy shows into the city. In April of 2012 the company expanded to other markets organizing a comedy show from the television network of Televisa, Telehit, in Sea1le, WA where it, again, found success. The beginning of 2013 marked a refocusing effort for the company beginning with the culSvaSon of a niche demographic. By focusing on LaSn-AlternaSve music, or "Rock en Español", and its listeners, Entertainment E chose to move forward under the new name, LaTi2, with a logo that embraced a youthful and fresh image. This spawned a new concert series starSng with immensely popular Spanish band, JarabeDePalo, then NoTeVaGustar from Uruguay, Pericos from ArgenSna, El Gran Silencio from Mexico, and Grammy winner Natalia Lafourcade. As a result, LaS2 immediately established itself as the only company in Chicago 100% focused on bringing "Rock en Español". In addiSon, LaS2 created an online radio to promote this music genre in the US.
