ALAP - Latin American Association of Advertising is an organization which gathers advertising agencies operating in Latin American countries. This association aims at the continuous exchange of information and experiences among its Member Agencies, as well as the analysis and solution of their common problems, by always targeting the sector's technical and human improvement. ALAP's goal is to provide agreements and partnerships among agencies and media, with freedom to advertise, tax exemption, market information, data bank of media and advertisers, compatibilization of laws and codes of ethics of the advertising business within MERCOSUR and Latin America, by aiming at the integration. ALAP is a non-profit organization, founded in 1983 during the Gramado World Advertising Festival, pursuant to the Brazilian laws and recognized as of public interest by the City Hall of Gramado.Integration of the Latin American agencies for exchange of services. The objective of the Data Bank is as follows:To provide information on:1. price lists of the main Newspapers, Magazines, Television and Radio Stations, Billboards and suppliers of the advertising business2. the circulation of Newspapers and Magazines with public and market segmentation.3. Television and Radio stations' audiences and Latin American products.4. To offer exchange of market studies for launching products5. To facilitate representation agreements among small, mid-sized and big agencies
