Latin House Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 with the objective to become the first Latin community Hub in Australia. We want to make sure the Latino migrants will be taken care of from getting off the plane all the way through to achieving their personal goals in Australia by connecting with the right organizations and providing trustful information. Since we started in March 2018, we have been working to develop cultural events and activities in order to promote Latin culture and create multicultural spaces. Latin Bazaar Market, it has been the most representative event where the local community has cultural immersion with Latinos. Additionally, this event promotes Latino talent and entrepreneurship. On each Latin Bazaar Market, we provide the space to showcase food businesses, traditional dance performances, and other talents. During 2018, we impacted more than 8,000 people with the Latin Bazaar Markets, we promoted more than 15 Latin food stalls, traditional dancing groups, DJs and other services as Educational Institutions, Health providers and other organizations. In Addition, we organized other events that support Latin Community in which we can highlight: Fair Work Australia and ATO Seminar, Childcare Seminar, The Colombian Independence Day, and we support El Arepazo (fundraising event for Venezuelan community).In 2019, we are working to provide the community with more opportunities. We are developing a Mentoring Program, we are connecting with more organizations and we would like to keep growing the Latin House community. We want to create more opportunities for our community and you can be part of it. Join us and help up to make this happen. Together, we are stronger and we would be able to reach more people.
