A comedy show production company founded by Lauren Ansley. We are passionate about creating moments of joy and laughter, supporting local businesses, and elevating comedy as an art form. Based in Charlotte, NC, Lauren Ansley is a stand-up comedian, emcee/show host, and show producer. She has been a featured performer in several comedy festivals throughout the Carolinas, named one of the comedians to know by Charlotte Five and was profiled in Winthrop Alumni's "My Winthrop Experience." Lauren has opened for nationally touring headliners Dale Jones, Preacher Lawson, Sean Patton, Shaun Jones, Grandma Lee, Sean Finnerty and Michael Palascak. Lauren's passion to make others laugh and slight southern accent are only overshadowed by her infectious smile and abnormal height of 5'13".Utilizing her background in marketing, event planning, and host/emcee experience, Lauren produced her first comedy show under the name Beerly Funny in the Summer of 2019. An independent comedy show production, Beerly Funny transforms local venues - breweries, restaurants, unique performance spaces and more -into comedy clubs one night at a time. In September 2019, Lauren quit her job, sold her house and launched her company into a full-fledged company, complete with government paperwork, and even a business checking account - so official! She also wrote this entire section herself in the third person. *smiles*
