LAVINA, the biggest national music holding, was set up in December 2001. The company focuses its activities on production, promotion and distribution of the best contemporary Ukrainian and world music. The record label Lavina Music is oriented to a maximally wide range of music without principal genre limitations. The criteria that primarily determine the repertoire and distribution policy of the company include: relevance, orientation to domestic and world music markets, a high level of quality in music product production and further management and promotion of the artists. Lavina Distribution is a network for the distribution of discs from the catalog of the Lavina Music label and other famous labels in all cities of Ukraine and beyond its borders. The concert department is involved in the organization of different cultural events from corporate parties to nationwide events attended by top state officials. Lavina Promotion deals with the organization and promotion of events related to Lavina's activities. The basic target of Lavina Promotion is making extra-ordinary projects to promote artists and their music as well as projects for the holding itself. By establishing a new department, Lavina Digital, Lavina Holding has become an innovator in the sphere of the introduction of digital technologies to the Ukrainian music market.
