As the driving force behind the collection, Lawren Michele Cappelletti (formally Lawren Michele Pope) has combined both her width of experience and passion for the industry with her own eclectic personality and tailoring skills.Lawren started her journey at the age of 5, when she began sewing matching dresses for her dolls with her grandmother. Her passion grew when she opened a successful clothing company with a classmate when she was 13 years old; boasting an impressive resume that includes FOX, ABC, NBC, Style Network, and Fashion TV; as well as having graced the pages of your favorite newspapers and national magazines. After recently launching her own brand, Lawren has become a one-woman creative force to be reckoned with. In addition to becoming a fan favorite, the brand has also been shown in several fashion events including a preview at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Fashion Week New Orleans, Los Angeles Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios, and a presentation at Rogue Space Chelsea for New York Fashion Week. In addition, Lawren was also a semi-finalist for season 2 casting of both NBC's Fashion Star and E!'s House of DVF, and was both nominated for RAW Artists Fashion Designer of the Year and listed as a RAW Founder's Favorite. Currently, Lawren is looking to expand the Lawren Michele brand into additional retail outlets, and spends the bulk of her time in her studio creating new and inventive ways to continue expanding her business and take the industry by storm.
