Started in 2001 as Morange, LLC (Morange rhymes with ‘orange'), Lawyer Up is a full-spectrum educational company for law students. Founded by New York City Prosecutors-turned-entrepreneurs, Elura Nanos and Michele Sileo, Lawyer Up is contributing to the legal community of tomorrow by doing things the right way. The Lawyer Up team specializes in breaking down tough legal concepts into tasty, bite-sized pieces, without all the jargon. The thousands of students who have Lawyered Up have found that there's just nothing like working with us. Great grades, less stress, and a live human to talk to anytime the going gets tough – that's what it means to Lawyer Up. In February 2010, Lawyer Up was a finalist in the Make Mine A Million $ Business Competition, sponsored by Count Me In and American Express Open, and since then, has taken the entrepreneurial community by storm. Co-founders of the blog My Underwire, Elura and Michele are active participants in supporting the growing community of women entrepreneurs.Now in its ninth year, Lawyer Up is expanding to bring its unique brand of edutainment to business owners and other professionals. Their new series, entitled "How to Wrangle Your Lawyer" will be launched this fall, in which this vivacious duo will share inside secrets about how to lower legal bills and understand what's truly happening inside law offices.
