Layton Design is a young, enthusiastic, concept based design studio based in Launceston, Tasmania. Layton Design was founded in 2010 by Dane Layton after completing Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture at University of Tasmania in 2009. Being a smaller operation we are able to provide personalised service to our clients, keeping them involved in their project throughout the whole process. We have relationships with Larger firms, allowing us to collaborate and take on projects of any scale.We create functional designs with a strong environmental and social conscience and a clean and clear aesthetic Our designs are a creative response to the clients brief, which is developed closely with the client, the local climate and environment and the existing qualities of the site. This responsive, process driven approach creates unique designs which are a direct response to the projects individual set of circumstances, are not style based and allows for the best result to be achieved.Layton Design is excited to engage in any project where we can exercise creativity, from logos, graphics, artworks and furniture design to a full Architectural design service and everything in between.
