Le Awesome scholarships provide impoverished teen girls in Phnom Penh with the tools necessary to facilitate their entry into universities teaching in English throughout the world. Upon entry into the Le Awesome program, teen girls are provided all necessary provisions to replicate as closely as possible a high school education similar to that of a successful student in a western country. This means each teen girl accepted into Le Awesome receives a private school education starting no later than the 9th grade at Footprints International School, English as a second language training at the Australian Center for Education, a Dell laptop and home WiFi, and as necessary medical, dental, and glasses. The word "le awe" in Khmer means good, and when combined with the English word "awesome," we have derived the name of our organization "Le Awesome."We are an all volunteer run organization that means all donations are used to directly support the Le Awesome teen girls.
