Le Concert impromptu performs the greatest pieces of classical music, from Mozart to Dvorak. The ensemble plays by heart and all lit up to share an uncompromising and exceptional pleasure.Le Concert impromptu is the only permanent woodwind quintet in France. Based in Paris, the ensemble travels across the world since over 25 years under the artistic direction of flautist Yves Charpentier. Invited by the Konzerthaus Wien, the Dance Theater Workshop in New-York or the Rheingau Musik Festival in Germany, Le Concert impromptu comes across as an ambassador of French music around the world. Besides the ensemble also loves to visit more surprising coutries such as Kosovo, Congo, Pakistan, Indonesia, where its open-minded values are unanimously enjoyed. Away with music stands and scores !
